Own Your Center

Welcome to my blog!

This is the blog site for my Own Your Center project! My purpose for this blog is to present information based on the three core elements of an exciting program I want to share with you. First, I am completing my pilot book titled “Own Your Center”, which covers defining your center, different ways you can lose your center, some effective tools to prevent losing your center, methods to reclaim your center, and how to actively and powerfully live from a centered place. Second, I have a moving and breathing program I have created to enhance your overall health, while providing enhanced range of motion, structure, balance, and economical movement. Lastly, I have this blog, where I share information and provide some basic resources to help you develop a powerful, balanced, and purposeful life. All three elements are designed to work together as a holistic approach to self-development and empowerment. It is also an evolving program that will continue to develop and be the base for many other opportunities.

We live in a modern world that is chaotic, disconnected, and often very toxic. We lose our connection to ourselves and each other through a constant bombardment of expectations, roles, responsibilities, and society pressures. We consume unhealthy foods and drinks (and other substances) out of convenience, entertainment, and self-medication. Anxiety and depression are rampant and generations of people are losing their real purpose and life meaning. To add to the problem, we hibernate and isolate ourselves into a man-made, sedentary world of artificial stimulation and distractions. Basically, we have settled to being cave dwellers. So many of us escape to our homes, only to get up the next day, drive in cars, trains, or buses, go to a building and sit in an office or cubicle for the majority of our waking hours. It is an unnatural way to live and we can easily lose our connection to our true selves. We can lose our center and, along with it, our health and well being.

Once we lose our center, we are no longer living authentically, with balance, passion, and purpose. Life becomes just a series of repeated habits, uninspiring, unfulfilling, and we feel trapped.

But, there is a way to reclaim yourself, to reclaim your center, and transform your life into what you were meant to be. There is a way to recapture the true essence of yourself, live in freedom, and find the peace that comes from a balanced, centered foundation. That is what I am sharing, to help you reach that in your life.

I am not just talking the talk here. I am also walking that walk myself. There is nothing I share that I am not doing myself, so if it hasn’t worked for me, I’m not going to present it to you.

Let’s all do this together, support each other, and build a community of powerful, authentic, and thriving people. Imagine what we can achieve together!

Future plans include a member’s only area (subscription based), where I will have an interactive discussion area, live feeds, and share more specific content. In addition, I am looking at possibly starting a YouTube channel, with both public and member-only video content.
